As such, our team aims to help people feel supported and cared for in situations involving legal issues, by offering them a unique, personalized information service.
We also provide information on alternative dispute resolution options (e.g. mediation). We recognize that each person has the capacity to take charge of their own situation and make the best choices for themselves. A lawyer is present every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu courthouse in room 1.08A on the second floor. She offers an emergency service without appointment for people representing themselves.

Free legal consultations in Acton
A mobile jurist travels around the Acton MRC to offer free legal services to local residents. She meets with you at the premises of various community organizations, according to a pre-established schedule. You can meet with her with or without an appointment, depending on your needs.
